STEAM in Action at Les Etangs Combined!
Robots, LEGO, electronics, and creative problem-solving lit up the STEAM Showcase hosted by A Hand In Learning LLC and the Curriculum and Materials Development Unit (CAMDU) of the Ministry of Education.
This year, the event featured brilliant minds from the Les Etangs Combined School, who wowed everyone with their ideas and enthusiasm for Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Mathematics. Through hands-on challenges, students explored real-world applications of STEAM and built essential 21st-century skills.
Special thanks to STEAM powerhouse Mrs. Jamesetta James and Curriculum Specialist for Information Technology Ms. Itasha Leon for leading this inspiring initiative. Students left with cool tech gadgets, and the school received LEGO kits to keep the creativity going!

Richland County School District 1 Einstein camp - 2022
Seven teacher were recognized as STEAM Integrators for successfully demonstrating the integration of core content through the use of drones, robots, and supplies provided during camp.
To assist with transitioning the robotic activities to their classrooms , they each received a Finch 2.0 robot.
